As a result of November 2022, the public debt of Kyrgyzstan (external + internal) amounted to $5,349.81 billion (451,777.59 billion soms). The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Including $4,275.77 billion (361,077.92 billion soms) is external debt, and $1,074.04 billion (90,699.67 billion soms) is internal one.
Over the month, the level of public debt grew by $131,200 million. At the same time, external debt decreased by $84.67 million and the domestic debt — by $46.56 million.
As a result of November, the public debt amounted to 63.3 percent of GDP.
The republic owes most of all in form of bilateral concessional loans — $2,153.34 billion (50.4 percent of external debt). At least 41.2 percent of the sum is the debt to the Export-Import Bank of China, which, following the results of 11 months of this year, is $1,760.03 billion. Other 48.4 percent of the external debt ($2,070,1 billion) is the debt of Kyrgyzstan on multilateral loans.
