In 2023, China plans to transfer a mobile hospital to Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, the head of the ministry Gulnara Baatyrova met with the Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen on December 29. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the healthcare sector and signed an act of acceptance and transfer of vaccines against COVID-19. In 2023, it is also planned to hand over a mobile hospital, as well as the arrival of Chinese specialists to perform free cataract surgeries.
Gulnara Baatyrova noted the significant contribution of the Chinese government in the fight against COVID-19 and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the PRC for the assistance provided to the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.
It is specified that the Chinese side handed over to the Kyrgyz Republic a humanitarian cargo in the form of more than 500,000 syringes and 500,000 doses of the inactivated Vero Cell vaccine against coronavirus on November 23, 2022.
