The Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved transfer of two buildings in Bishkek to the Federal Border Service of Russia for 49 years.

Chairman of the State Property Management Fund Mirlan Bakirov noted that the Russian side wanted to buy objects for official use.

The head of the State Property Management Fund told 24.kg news agency that the facilities that the Russian side wants to buy are located on Zhibek Zholu Avenue and Kurenkeev Street. The total area of buildings with the adjacent territory is about 2,000 square meters.

«According to our law, we cannot sell land. But we can rent it out. Implementation of the law will not require money. Russia buys objects at its own expense, the Kyrgyz side provides them for rent,» Mirlan Bakirov said.

He asked the committee to approve the issue in three readings at once. However, the Chairman of the Committee, Daniyar Tolonov, replied that the document should also be considered by the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration.
