President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan elected

Election of the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan has ended. Its results were announced by the agency.

Earlier, the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry approved three applicants for the position of the head of the Chamber, who meet all the necessary requirements. Nine people have expressed a desire to run for office, but only three participated in the election.

By decision of the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the following people were admitted to the election:

• Advisor to the General Director for Economic Issues and Investment Projects of Kyrgyzgiprostroy Design Institute, ex-prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev;
• Founder and adviser to the CEO of INTEGRA Engineering Group Zhodar Saidilkanov;
• General Director of Shumkar Logistic Company Avazbek Kerimbaev.

Temir Sariev won the majority of votes. He became the new President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The former head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marat Sharshekeyev resigned.
