Russian company looks for partners in Kyrgyzstan for semiconductors production

General Director of Multiklet, Doctor of Technical Sciences Boris Zyryanov believes that cooperation with Kyrgyzstan is of strategic importance for the production of domestic semiconductors. He told reporters.

According to him, Kyrgyzstan has good opportunities for the production of polycrystalline silicon. It is the main material of solid-state electronics. It is the base material of microelectronics and consumes 80 percent of semiconductor silicon.

«The fact is that Western countries have deprived us of the supply of this very necessary raw material. It is now important for Russia to find partners in whom the country can be confident, and one of them is Kyrgyzstan,» said Boris Zyryanov.

He also noted that in the near future it would be possible to use domestic radio-electronic components in the automotive industry, aircraft industry, as well as all industries in which automated production control is used in any way.

It is noted that a Memorandum of cooperation in the production of materials for the electronic industry was signed on December 8 in Bishkek between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The purpose of the memorandum is mutually beneficial cooperation of the parties in the implementation of joint projects in the field of microelectronics, including the creation of production facilities for the needs of the electronics industry and related technological equipment.
