Cabinet of Ministers proposes to approve business agenda for business

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, has developed a draft resolution, according to which the business agenda of the business of Kyrgyzstan until 2026 will be approved. The document has been submitted for public discussion.

It says about supporting and developing entrepreneurship, reducing the level of the shadow economy, improving positions in international ratings, optimizing tax administration, digitalization and innovation of the business environment, protecting the rights and interests of entrepreneurs.

It is specified that the business agenda of the business will consist of six principles:

• Mutual responsibility of the state and business;
• Connection of trade and industrial relations — development and increase of competitiveness in the market;
• Innovativeness — strengthening competitive advantages in the long term;
• Environmental friendliness — preservation of the environment and the resource base, respect for nature;
• Equality — social justice;
• Development security — counteracting the negative impact of the external and internal environment.

The business agenda of the business provides for a roadmap. It includes measures to be implemented by the Cabinet. All ministries and departments will have to provide the Ministry of Economy with information on the implementation of the business agenda of the business annually by June 1 and December 31.

The Ministry of Economy, in turn, will develop a system of assessment indicators, which includes positions in international ratings, a form of a report on the implementation of control measures, and will monitor its implementation.

The results will be discussed twice a year with representatives of the business community.
