Man beaten to death in Bishkek, three suspects arrested

Three suspects were detained in Bishkek on charges of causing grievous bodily harm. Press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department reported.

According to it, a call was received on December 5 at about 9.30 a.m. from the city morgue about the corpse of an unknown man. The investigative group of the Internal Affairs Department of Leninsky district and investigators of the capital’s police went to the place. The deceased was identified, he turned out to be 53-year-old A.A. Bodily injuries were found on the body.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 «Causing grievous bodily harm» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. It turned out that the man was beaten in one of the private houses on Sarakulov Street.

The investigators identified and detained the suspects: 51-year-old K.S., 31-year-old Y.U. and 36-year-old I.V. They were taken to the Investigation Service and placed in a temporary detention center.

The Leninsky District Court of Bishkek issued a decision to arrest the suspects for two months. The investigation is ongoing.
