At least 7,000 tons of coal are shipped from Kara-Keche field per day. Director of Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise Marat Orozbaev told at a press conference.
According to him, 200,000 tons of fuel are ready for shipment. The open-pit coal mine is working as usual. Stripping and mining operations are underway. All fuel bases in Bishkek are provided with coal, prices vary from 4,000 to 6,000 soms, depending on the provision of services.
«The population and budget-funded institutions in the regions are also fully provided with coal. There are no disruptions,» Marat Orozbaev stressed.
