Channel for smuggling of fuels and lubricants into Kyrgyzstan has been detected and suppressed. The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
It has been found out that fuel and lubricants were illegally imported into Kyrgyzstan from Kazakhstan for a long time. Legalization of unaccounted products using forged documents was carried out with the participation of an official of the tax authority. Fuels and lubricants were sold mainly in the southern regions of the republic.
In the course of operational and investigative measures, the organizer and perpetrator of the illegal channel Sh.M. and D.O., as well as the chief inspector of the State Tax Service for the city of Tokmak M.T. were detained and placed in the remand center.
The State Committee for National Security is carrying out additional activities to identify other persons involved in the work of the criminal group.
