There is a need to create a direct investment fund in the Eurasian space. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov said at the Bishkek Investment Summit.
According to him, one of the most effective mechanisms for attracting direct investment to the country in world practice is the mechanism of state participation in financing enterprises. In such cases, the state, together with private, often foreign, investors, establishes a direct investment fund, which makes the investments.
«Creation of such a fund in the EAEU space would become a unifying system of joint investment platforms and direct investment funds. Kyrgyzstan initiated this issue and is now working on its implementation,» Akylbek Japarov said.
