Kyrgyzstan to revoke driver's licenses for drunk driving

Drivers will be deprived of their driver’s licenses for drunk driving in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Central Traffic Safety Department Azamat Isirailov told at a meeting of Parliament.

According to him, drunk driving will no longer be fined.

«We will revoke driver’s licenses. The first time — for one year, again — for three years. In addition, for exceeding the speed limit by 40-60 kilometers per hour, the fine will be 7,500 soms, over 60 kilometers per hour — 15,000 soms, for entry into the oncoming lane — 15,000, car hooliganism — 15,000 soms,» Azamat Isirailov said.
