The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan intervened in the foreign exchange market for the first time in December. The official website of the central bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
It sold $1 million with settlements on the date of the transaction and $58.5 million with settlements other than the date of the transaction. This is the second intervention with sale of dollars in the last month. In total, the National Bank dumped $114.7 million in the market.
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has conducted 14 interventions since the beginning of the year. In seven cases of them the bank bought dollars for $ 190,740 million. As a result of seven more interventions, $332,350 million were sold. Thus, the net sale of dollars in the foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year amounted to $141,610 million.
