Kyrgyzstanis complain about an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). They note such symptoms as fever, strong cough and headache.
Director of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Health Sultan Abdykadyrov commented on the epidemiological situation to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, there is an increase in incidence of ARVI and influenza in Kyrgyzstan.
«Since last week, the incidence of ARVI has increased by almost 1.5 times. There were 357 cases, and there are 612 now. About 31 cases of influenza were registered, there are 62 now. But the epidemiological threshold has not been exceeded. There is moderate growth,» he said.
Adenoviruses and rhinoviruses are mainly registered. There are no new viruses.
Sultan Abdykadyrov noted no increase in the incidence of COVID-19, on the contrary, there is a decrease. Only 12 cases have been registered for a week. Omicron strain and Centaurus subvariants circulate in the country.
