Deputy of the Parliament Cholpon Sultanbekova became the new Chairwoman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial, Legal Issues and Regulations of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
Her candidacy was nominated by Ishenim parliamentary faction. 81 deputies voted for it, two against.
The former head of the committee, Meder Aliyev, resigned on November 30. According to him, the reason for his resignation is related to Kempir-Abad issue.
