Deputy Meder Aliyev resigned from the post of Chairman of the Committee for constitutional legislation, state structure, judicial, legal issues and regulations of the Parliament. He announced this at its meeting.
According to him, the reason for his resignation is related to Kempir-Abad issue.
«I think that we should explain our actions to our voters. Nobody forced me. Without going into details, I can say that the reason is related to the Kempir-Abad issue. I worked honestly, transparently and without corruption. During this year, not a single relative was put in office. On the contrary, one of the four relatives left work at my request. Our politicians are divided into pro-government ones, who support the right and wrong decisions of the authorities, and the opposition, who criticize everything and everyone. I would like to be a third type of politician who works only in the interests of the people,» he said.
