Deputies of the Parliament are considering an agreement with the Republic of Uzbekistan on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border and joint management of Kempir-Abad reservoir. President Sadyr Japarov is present at the meeting.
Parliament deputy Aida Isatbek kyzy asked the head of state to treat women more gently.
«As you know, in recent days, women have been treated badly. I have a request to you: demand to treat women a little bit milder. I understand very well that, maybe, this is the opposition, journalists who give information incorrectly. But they are women,» she said.
Sadyr Japarov replied that the law was the same for everyone. «Women and men are not treated in different ways. A woman should also feel responsible. You should not say that she is a woman, so she can do what she wants. Everything must be within the law,» he stressed.
