«It is necessary to simplify the tax legislation. The State Tax Service is working on the introduction of large-scale procedures,» the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, said at the 1st National Tax Forum «Tax Service for the Benefit of Taxpayer».
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet recalled the words of the economist Oliver Holmes. He said that taxes are the price we pay for a civilized society.
«The tax authorities ensure the collection of taxes at all levels. To date, 52 departments of the Tax Service have created a one-stop shop infrastructure for receiving unified reporting and forms. The new Tax Code is aimed at streamlining procedures and reducing the shadow component of the economy, as well as at developing digitalization in this area. To do this, the State Tax Service has introduced digital components, including electronic invoices, automated information systems «Gas Station» and «Consolidated Post», said Adylbek Kasymaliev.
He also recalled that the Entrepreneurs Service Center in Bishkek has been operating for almost a year. There, a business can receive services for registering and re-registering a taxpayer, receiving reports on taxes and insurance premiums, registration in a taxpayer’s office system and issuing licenses and certificates.
