Kyrgyzstan took the second team place at the World Sambo Championship, which ended in Bishkek. Website of the International Sambo Federation reported.
The national team of the Kyrgyz Republic won six medals (two gold, one silver and three bronze).
Russian sambo wrestlers, who competed under the flag of the International Sambo Federation, took the 1st place in the medal standings. They won 13 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.
The national team of Belarus took the 3rd place.
At least 350 athletes participated in the World Championship and competed for 21 sets of medals.
