Citizen of Russia detained in Bishkek for large-scale fraud

A citizen of Russia was detained in Bishkek on suspicion of fraud. Press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Pervomaisky district of the capital reported.

«Investigators of the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs detained the CEO and founder of Hard Skills, 32, a native of the Republic of Buryatia. According to investigators, he fraudulently took money from citizens and was hiding,» the statement says.

The fact was registered under Article 209 «Fraud» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Russian citizen was placed in the temporary detention center of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.

The investigators do not rule out that there may be other victims in the case.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Fyodor Valeryevich Stepanov is registered as the head of Hard Skills LLC.
