In October, 49 Kyrgyzstanis were released from custody in Russia. Press service of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation reported.
«With the assistance of the Embassy, the bodies of 15 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who died on the territory of the Russian Federation, were repatriated. The issue of claiming wages of 50 fellow citizens in the amount of 1,963,600 rubles was positively resolved. At least 48 Kyrgyzstanis, who were detained by Russian law enforcement agencies for violating migration laws, were released from custody, as well as one citizen against whom a criminal case was initiated,» the statement says.
Employees of the Embassy and offices visited the institutions of the penitentiary system in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Moscow, Vladimir and Samara Oblasts on cases against 42 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, and an individual conversation was held with each of them.
Ten meetings were held with the activists of the Kyrgyz diaspora associations, 8,544 people were consulted through hotlines and social media, 15 information messages were published on the embassy’s website.
Since the beginning of the year, the Embassy, together with its offices, has carried out 113,921 consular actions, 10,031 of which — in October.
