Up to 1,500 buses are required to ensure uninterrupted provision of the city with public transport. The Deputy Director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the Bishkek City Hall, Sagynbek uulu Nurbek, said at a round table discussion.
According to him, about 90 buses, 130 trolleybuses, 1,600 mini buses and 140 ISUZU buses are serving the routes every day.
«About 1,500 buses are required. We are doing the relevant work. One billion soms have been allocated. 120 buses purchased at the expense of the local budget will arrive in early December,» he said.
