Deputies rejected a bill on gambling activity at a meeting of Parliament on Thursday.
The initiators were the deputies Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and Baktybek Turusbekov. They offered to reopen casinos and betting shops in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, it was proposed to create a special administrative district in Issyk-Kul region.
However, due to the fact that the President Sadyr Japarov signed another law on gambling, the proposal of the deputies was rejected as irrelevant.
