The Fire Service of Gyeonggi Province of Korea handed over four ambulances and special equipment for medical workers in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
«The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea Aida Ismailova took part in the ceremony of handing over transport and equipment. She thanked for the technical assistance provided and expressed interest in continuing cooperation in the training and retraining of specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the field of fire safety,» the statement says.
The Korean side intends to deepen cooperation with the Fire Service of Kyrgyzstan, as well as organize trainings for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Health on the use of modern fire engines and ambulances. Technical assistance will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan free of charge.
In 2021, the Fire Service of Korea handed over two ambulances and two fire engines to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.
