A contract on the supply of coal was signed with KarTransUgol LLP in the amount of 400,000 tons. Electric Stations OJSC informed 24.kg news agency.
The company noted that the first batch of coal will be delivered in October. The delivery schedule is set until the spring of 2023. There are reserves of fuel oil and gas at the capital’s heating and power plant.
«The Bishkek HPP is fully ready to start the autumn-winter heating season. We are waiting for the decision of the headquarters for the passage of the autumn-winter period. To date, the HPP has over 253,000 tons of coal. The daily consumption is about 1,500 tons of coal,» Electric Stations OJSC said.
KarTransUgol LLP has been a large-scale wholesale supplier of solid fuel from Karaganda coal fields since 2009. The company supplies coal by rail across the territory of Kazakhstan, the CIS countries and the Baltic States.
