At least 50 buses made in Uzbekistan were bought for Osh city. Press service of the City Hall of the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Purchase of new public transport became possible within the framework of a trilateral agreement between the Osh City Hall, the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Fund and SamAuto automobile plant.
ISUZU SAZ HC40 buses are produced in Samarkand. The cost of each is $37,000. The transport has 38 passenger seats.
According to the City Hall, the buses have been equipped with Bus Service GPS tracking system. With its help, passengers can track the movement of public transport. The buses are also equipped with cashless fare payment system.
