Vice Mayor of Balykchy city, Aziz Asanaliev, was placed under house arrest. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
This decision was made by the Issyk-Kul Regional Court.
«It is known that the coordinator of people’s control, AKNK NGO, applied to the State Committee for National Security. He asked to take action against the mayor of Balykchy and the head of the Municipal Property Department. The applicant pointed out that 4,950 million soms were illegally spent during the construction of fish market,» the sources said.
The former mayor of Balykchy, the head of the City Hall of the southern capital, Almaz Mambetov, is involved in this criminal case.
