A five-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Issyk-Ata district of Chui region. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The incident occurred in Kenesh village. Information that a child born in 2017 had drowned in the pond was received at 11.50 a.m.
Rescuers found the boy’s body and handed it over to relatives.
