Competition for Russian language teachers from CIS countries launched

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation announces an international competition for Russian language teachers abroad «Teaching Without Borders». Website of the competition says.

The purpose of the competition is to find and spread the best teaching practices, strengthen professional regional and international ties between teachers specializing in teaching the Russian language in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Four winners will be awarded cash prizes in the amount of 50,000 rubles, eight more laureates will receive 30,000 rubles each.

The international jury will evaluate the pedagogical projects of the participants in the following categories:

• For a creative approach to teaching the Russian language;
• For the originality of the idea of ​​the pedagogical project;
• For the proficiency in using teaching technologies;
• For an innovative approach to teaching the Russian language;
• For a scientific approach to teaching the Russian language.

Applications are accepted from October 10 to December 1.
