The first meeting of the Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan took place at Ala-Archa state residence on Tuesday.
After the event, Sadyr Japarov made a statement to the press. He expressed satisfaction with the results of the talks with the President of Azerbaijan.
In his statement to the media, the head of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that it was the first state visit of Ilham Aliyev to Kyrgyzstan.
«The talks were held in an atmosphere of complete mutual understanding, openness and trust. I note that the launch of the Interstate Council and the agreements signed today are a clear indicator of the active development of our cooperation in the political, trade and investment fields,» Sadyr Japarov said.
