At least $572.24 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to Russia for eight months of 2022. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provides such data.
Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by $249.35 million, or 1.8 times. The figure has already exceeded the data of 2021. Over the past year, $542.4 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to Russia.
Most of all funds were transferred in the last two months — $230.2 million.
About $120.6 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in August. This is a record high since 2005.
The volume of transfers from Russia to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1,830.88 billion. In contrast to the 2021 data, this is $138.01 million more. The net inflow of transfers from Russia to Kyrgyzstan in January-August amounted to $1,258.64 billion.
