A telephone conversation took place between Sadyr Japarov and Vladimir Putin. Press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The leaders of the countries discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian bilateral and multilateral cooperation, interaction of states within the framework of integration associations.
Sadyr Japarov warmly congratulated the head of the Russian Federation on his 70th birthday and wished him good health, prosperity and further success in responsible state activities.
Vladimir Putin thanked Sadyr Japarov for the congratulations.
During the conversation, the parties noted the readiness to bring bilateral relations in the spirit of eternal alliance and strategic partnership to a qualitatively new level.
The presidents of the countries agreed to maintain contacts on an ongoing basis.
Sadyr Japarov will not take part in the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg. According to his spokesman, this is due to the busy work schedule of the head of state.
