Two key projects for Kyrgyzstan for today are the construction of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway and Kambarata hydropower station 1. The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, announced today at the Bishkek Economic Forum.
According to him, the construction of the railway will give a big impetus and opportunities for the implementation of many other projects. The construction of Kambar-Ata-1 will be an example of integration, as it is a joint Kyrgyz-Kazakh-Uzbek project.
«Such large projects should be implemented, including at the expense of the World Bank. We know that you are used to just hearing, but now we must realize the importance of the project. Therefore, Kyrgyzstan officially invites the World Bank to take part in the implementation of these projects,» Adylbek Kasymaliev said.
He also called on the World Bank to take part in the reconstruction of Batken region after the invasion of Tajikistan.
