The Border Service continues to take measures to prevent illegal import/export and driving of livestock across the state border. Press service of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Two facts were reportedly registered from September 29 to October 4.
Border guards of Ala-Buka border detachment detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan on September 29 at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek section of the state border in Taza-Suu area while trying to illegally transport cattle to Uzbekistan.
On October 4, border patrol detained a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic at the border with Kazakhstan while trying to illegally drive two horses to the neighboring country.
According to preliminary data, the total cost of the detained cattle and horses amounted to 740,000 soms.
After drawing up the relevant documents, the detained citizens and their livestock were handed over to the employees of the competent authorities for further investigation.
