The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, in connection with the beginning of the seasonal epidemiological rise in influenza, ARVI and COVID-19 cases, is increasing the rate of vaccination with booster doses. The Republican Headquarters reported.
A 90-day campaign for vaccination against coronavirus starts in the country. All citizens of the republic, who previously (4-6 months ago) received a full course of vaccination with two doses, can get the booster doses of vaccines.
«They can get booster doses of the vaccines approved for use in Kyrgyzstan. To date, the country has enough Sinopharm and Pfizer BioNTech vaccines,» the headquarters informed.
The fourth dose is recommended for people with chronic diseases and those at the age of 60 and over.
Earlier it was reported that 77 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Kyrgyzstan from September 26 to October 2.
