President of Russia Vladimir Putin called on the Kyiv regime to «immediately cease fire» and the war unleashed in 2014 and return to the negotiating table. He stated this on Friday, speaking in the Kremlin, at the ceremony of signing agreements on the entry of new territories into the Russian Federation.

According to Vladimir Putin, the Russian side is ready for this. But at the same time, the results of the referendums in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will not be discussed.

«The choice of the people in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson will not be discussed, it has been made. Russia will not betray them,» the head of state said.

He said that as once after the revolution the borders of the union republics were cut behind the scenes, so the last leaders of the Soviet Union, contrary to the direct expression of the will of the majority of people in the 1991 referendum, destroyed the great country.

«They presented the people with a fait accompli. I admit that they did not even fully understand what they were doing and what consequences this would inevitably lead to in the end. But it doesn’t matter anymore. There is no Soviet Union, the past cannot be returned. Russia does not need it anymore, we are not striving for this,» Vladimir Putin said.

He also called «Russophobia racism», accused the Anglo-Saxons of explosions on oil pipelines. He also said that the United States was the only country in the world that has twice used nuclear weapons and created a precedent.
