Immunization with the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine has begun in Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding addition was made to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the Republican Center for Health Promotion and Mass Communication of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, all interested citizens who have previously undergone a full course of primary vaccination and a booster dose can get the jab. Vaccination is especially important for people at risk: the elderly; people suffering from chronic diseases; medical workers; pregnant women and others. They are more prone to infection and have a more severe form of the disease.

Vaccination with the fourth dose is carried out 4-6 months after receiving the booster (third dose). You can get vaccinated at all Family Medicine Centers.

«To date, Sinopharm and Pfizer vaccines are available in sufficient quantities in the country. However, if you are planning a flight abroad, hurry up to get vaccinated — the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine expires at the end of October,» the center noted.

Information about the doses received will be entered into vc.emed.gov.kg system, followed by the generation of a certificate of preventive vaccinations against COVID-19.
