The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan confirmed this information. According to the service, Tajik servicemen opened fire at the border guards of Samarkandek outpost of Batken border detachment of Kyrgyzstan.

The border guards of Kyrgyzstan discovered a border detachment of Tajikistan this morning in Bulak-Bashi area of Batken region.
