Kyrgyzstani Amantur Ismailov won a bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championship in Serbia.
At the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in the weight category up to 67 kilograms, he lost the 1/8 finals to an Iranian athlete who reached the final. Thus, Amantur Ismailov got a chance to compete for bronze.
In the fight for bronze, Ismailov defeated a wrestler from Georgia.
Another wrestler from Kyrgyzstan, Akzhol Makhmudov, became the world champion.
