Foreign citizens staying in Kyrgyzstan have been fined 33,278,500 soms since the beginning of the year. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Nurbek Abdiev, announced at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament.
According to him, fines were imposed for various violations of the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic. He also presented statistics on the deportation of foreign citizens from Kyrgyzstan.
«According to the report for 2022, at least 15 people were deported from Kyrgyzstan. Two of them are citizens of Uzbekistan. The rest were deported after being released from prison colonies,» Nurbek Abdiev said.
He added that the deportation statistics had slightly decreased compared to previous years.
