Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, during a working trip to Naryn region, got acquainted with the reconstruction of At-Bashi hydropower plant. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov examined the technical equipment of the hydropower plant and got acquainted with the plans for its further modernization. He gave a number of instructions for the reconstruction of the hydropower plant to ensure continuous and reliable electricity generation and efficient management. In addition, he got acquainted with the project for the construction of Kulanak hydropower plant, the capacity of which will be 100 megawatts.
As part of the working trip, the head of the Cabinet also inspected the activities of Torugart checkpoint.
From August to October 31 of 2022, the working hours of the checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border were extended by two hours.
