It is planned to open a new textile factory at the premises of an idle enterprise — the former Kara-Balta carpet factory with a total area of 53,000 square meters. The National Investment Promotion Agency reported.
During a working trip, the head of the agency, Ravshan Sabirov, visited Dekna Bishkek Textile LLC to get acquainted with the construction of the factory. It turned out that a company from Turkey acquired an additional building as part of the expansion. A toy factory worked in it in Soviet times.
The founder and owner of Dekna Bishkek Textile, Firat Deniz, said that the construction of the textile factory will be completed in the near future.
Investment in the project amount to $25 million. At least $400,000 has already been invested in the construction of the plant.
Thanks to the cluster approach, the future enterprise is unique in its industry, as it provides a virtually waste-free production by processing textiles from yarn to subsequent fabrics. Implementation of this project will create 800 — 1,000 additional jobs.
«Investors who come to Kyrgyzstan with investments in domestic production are provided with benefits by the state when importing raw materials and spare parts into the country. We look forward to a long and fruitful cooperation and are ready to assist at all stages,» Ravshan Sabirov said.
