One of the detainees in the case on Spekulyant store is a member of Asia MIX team of the Club of Funny and Inventive Marat Dzhumanaliev. Law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
Dzhumanaliev was reportedly detained for 48 hours. He was placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
Earlier, the press center of the SCNS reported on the arrest of suspected fraudsters. According to investigators, for a fee, they offered the General Director of Spekulyant LLC, a Russian citizen Vasily Shcherbina, assistance in resolving his issues within a criminal case.
Earlier, investigation into the criminal case of Spekulyant store was conducted by an interdepartmental investigation group of the SCNS and the Military Prosecutor’s Office. According to the investigators, the heads and employees of commercial companies, in collusion with government officials, under the patronage of individual law enforcement and fiscal officials, organized a stable corruption scheme for the import of expired food products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan. Vasily Shcherbina and Shakhnoza Yakubzhanova were put on the wanted list.
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported later that the investigation into the criminal case had been suspended due to the search for suspects.
