In a cover letter to the court, the head of the department of Federal Security Service for Moscow city and the Moscow Oblast writes: «Emil Bekiev is involved in extremist activities, is an adherent of radical Islam, adheres to the ideas of religious and ethnic superiority, and spreads extremist ideology among immigrants from Central Asian countries.»

«A criminal case has been opened against Bekiev in Kyrgyzstan under the article «Inciting racial, ethnic, national, religious and interethnic hatred» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Bekiev’s activity poses a threat to public security, contributes to inciting interethnic hatred and hostility, and therefore we consider his presence on the territory of the Russian Federation undesirable. We ask you to take into account the information when considering the issue of violations of migration legislation and the possible taking of administrative measures in respect of him in the form of forced expulsion,» the document says.

It is known that Emil Bekiev criticized the authorities, including the President Sadyr Japarov. This morning he was taken away from Tamchy airport in an unknown direction.
