Exhibition of Abdysadyr Turusbekov’s works opened in Bishkek

An exhibition of Abdysadyr Turusbekov’s works has been opened at the Gapar Aitiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek.

Abdysadyr Turusbekov was born in 1953 in Aral village, Talas region. He creates his works there.

This is already his second major exhibition at the museum. The first was successfully held in 2019.

Abdysadyr Turusbekov is an unusual artist. The Bishkek audience does not often see such paintings. His works are incomprehensible, innovative, sometimes provocative and they surprise.

The author has his own unique style, where interaction of volumes, colors, textures and space is comprehended through the composition. At the same time, there is a deep synthesis of the artistic methods of Western and Eastern artistic thinking.

Once again you get convinced how wide and diverse modern Kyrgyz art is.

The exhibition will run until September 20.
