As the history of the development of advanced states shows, our main resource is enterprising, talented youth with interesting ideas. Students will have the opportunity to create startups in a variety of industries and bring cutting-edge ideas to life. The startup market is only developing in our country. According to the Silicon Valley theory, only 10 percent of startups succeed. Therefore, in order to have a real impact on the development of the national economy, tens of thousands of start-ups should develop in our republic every year, and there should be open competition of business ideas on the market,» he said.

Akylbek Japarov said that the regulations on the procedure for organizing and holding startup project competitions in higher educational institutions, the procedure and conditions for providing financial support to startups, determining startup projects selected based on the results of the competition have been adopted.

«As part of the Student Startup program, startup projects will be selected in such areas as information / digital technology, medicine and health care / medical technology, chemical technology, intelligent manufacturing technology, biotechnology, resource-saving energy, agricultural technology, green economy, creative industry. The strongest projects will be selected for further government funding. We believe that startups will lead to the mass launch of technology organizations and will contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions in various sectors of the economy,» he said.
