The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov launched the construction of a new building for the Children’s Emergency Hospital in Bishkek on September 1. Press service of the President reported.
In his speech, the head of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that health care, prevention, instilling the habit of a healthy lifestyle are among the most important problems in the modern world, so the state policy of the country is aimed at creating all conditions for protecting and strengthening the health of citizens.
As Sadyr Japarov stated, the health of the population of the republic is one of the main priorities of the National Development Program until 2026, and the issue of caring for the health of children, who are the future of the country, is in the focus of the state now.
The head of state stressed that the construction of a new building of the Children’s Emergency Hospital in Bishkek would become an important aspect in the provision of quality medical services.
Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that by 2025, a new hospital with modern high-tech medical equipment and comfortable conditions would be built for children at the expense of the funds allocated by the Saudi Development Fund (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
The construction of the four-story surgery wing is financed by a concessional loan from the Saudi Fund for Development.
It is planned that the new building will have 212 beds and 8 operating units: emergency surgery, neurosurgery, neonatal surgery, surgical infection, thoracic surgery and much more.
The building is also planned to house the departments of radiology, proctology, resuscitation, toxicology, resuscitation of newborns, urology, traumatology, a morphological room, a laboratory block and others.
The President talked to the staff of the medical institution and asked about the existing problems.
The doctors expressed their gratitude for the increase in salaries and told about topical issues in the healthcare sector.
