Deputies of Parliament open next session of 7th convocation

Deputies of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan opened the next session of the 7th convocation. They solemnly sang the anthem.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov. He congratulated the parliament members on opening of the new session and told about the projects being implemented by the Government. The emphasis was made on the upcoming signing of an agreement on the construction of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway.

According to him, the document will be signed in Samarkand within the framework of the meeting of the heads of the SCO member states, which will be held from September 14 through September 16.

«Preparation of the feasibility study will be completed by the middle of next year, after which construction will begin,» Akylbek Japarov told.

After his speech, MP Shailoobek Atazov asked a question regarding the information in the media about the export of a large amount of gold to an unknown country.

«We have many meetings ahead of us. I am ready to answer all questions. The president also commented on this issue. We have accurate information on gold, unlike the news agencies,» Akylbek Japarov said.

Further, the deputies in turn voiced a number of problems that they are going to raise during the new session. The most pressing among them were the issues of migration.

Speaker Talant Mamytov announced a break for discussion on the proposed topics until next week.
