Rescuers found the body of a student from China who went missing a month ago in Issyk-Kul region. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
His body was found on August 25 in the river near Karakol. The body was taken from the water and handed over to the police.
Friends of the fourth-year student of the Bishkek Humanities University reported the disappearance of the 22-year-old citizen of the PRC on July 27.
The Department of Internal Affairs of the region informed the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Issyk-Kul region about the fact that the foreign student went to Ala-Kol pasture of Ak-Suu district on July 24 and did not return on August 18.
