«Labor resources play an important role in our economies, while we must create the most favorable conditions for the stay of citizens who work in our countries, including a simplified registration procedure,» Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in an expanded format.
According to him, the citizens of the Union have equal opportunities for employment. But despite significant preferences, unused opportunities continue to exist. To reduce bureaucracy and miles of red tape, the head of the Cabinet considers it important to introduce digital technologies for registration of workers in the states of employment, as well as ensure full access to medical care and insurance under the provisions of the Treaty on the EAEU.
«In order to get all the preferences and benefits from the labor market, the member states must create the necessary conditions for the legal stay and labor activity of workers. At the same time, new national acts in the field of labor migration should take into account all the provisions of the union agreement and not create threats to achieving the goals of the EAEU in the field of labor migration,» Akylbek Japarov said.
He also told that Eurasian Dialogue on Development of Single Labor Market Forum is planned to be held in Bishkek on September 27-28, and called on delegations from the EAEU member countries to take an active part and discuss the problems of migrants at the forum.
