Eurasian Reinsurance Company will be created in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market reports.
The corresponding agreement is planned to be signed following a meeting of the Heads of Government of the EAEU countries in Cholpon-Ata city.
The Eurasian Reinsurance Company is an international financial organization that is created to stimulate mutual and foreign trade, implement joint cooperation projects and investments of the Eurasian Economic Union, complementing the functions of export credit agencies of the states at the supranational level.
"The company is aimed at promoting an increase in the volume of mutual trade and investment, development of economic integration, an increase in investment attractiveness and expansion of trade and economic ties between the participating states. It will reinsure export credits, export-oriented financing and investments against business and political risks in the member states and third countries.
